The year is 2013 and the Fourth Amendment is nothing more than a relic from a bygone era.
Now, instead of asking permission to search your person and belongings, they ask "how did you feel about having your rights violated today?" Upon concluding that this entire ordeal was unfounded and unnecessary, passengers are "relieved" and "think its a pretty good idea". As the TSA has failed to catch a single "bad guy" at an airport, they have put their heads together with DHS to determine that the bad guys are travelling by bus and train now. With results like today's, no doubt the bad guys have already moved on to highways and sidewalks.
All my Amendments are still in tact and to prove it the Const. tells me they are not anyone or anything else is telling me different
Many years ago, I was at the Greyhound terminal in Alburquerque and the did this kind of search as if we were at the airport. The whole thing did not make any sense in that at the first bus stop we had access to our luggage. Which means anything not found on the person and their carryon could have gotten it from the next bus station. Those at our borders know how to read people.. To not use their instinks on at least half of their checks is insane.
Comment Do you not find comfort in the fact that you and every member of your family, children included, are routinely viewed sans clothing and/or patted down by strangers working for the TSA? Just think of how many perverts are enjoying themselves while being employed by the TSA.
